Users review: The Stage (2013) ** (out of 4) forty friends Billy and Nick (Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson) are out of work when their company closes. Fearing that there is nowhere else to go, in the end you try to go to Google, but they must first go through a period of internship. The internship begins incredibly annoying, but ultimately more annoying to the last thirty minutes, resumed, but unfortunately way too late to be worth sitting alone. I must say that I was shocked at how little the image is funny and almost like they did not have a script to work. I say this because it really seemed as director of the newly screamed and then let Vaughn and Wilson do what they wanted. It really seems as if the two actors just got better to do something and this usually involves annoying and act old and outdated with the current times. Just look at the interview for a job that is done by computer. Many comedies are strong in trying to make you laugh, but this thing actually hits you on the head, put it, then drag it to the torture chamber, which begs and pleads to laugh. Forcing jokes is just tiring and actually quite boring. Id say that most of the laughs are real clothes and towards the end of the film did not begin to rise. There's a funny sequence inside the strip and has some fun scenes towards the end, but most of the time the jokes are just flat. As for Vaughn and Wilson, I think they are both so cute, even when they are in a bad movie that can not help but like them. Theres a joke in the film that you would prefer to sit in a bar with the characters mentioned Vaughn and Wilson. I feel the same way, meaning if you have to sit through a bad comedy then maybe it's best to do with these two actors. Supporting players are also quite good, but unfortunately they just do not give anything to be done. The internship has an idea rather weak and does nothing with it. |
